Rohith R. Nair
Rohith R. Nair, a scholarship recipient from India, has reached an exciting milestone—successfully completing his MBBS degree and graduating from medical school. His achievement marks the culmination of years of dedication and the impact of sustained educational support.
While he prepares for a brief recovery period following knee surgery, Rohith remains focused on his future and plans to continue his medical training through postgraduate studies. His journey reflects both resilience and determination, and his success highlights the meaningful impact of access to education.
“I am so glad and happy to inform you all that I have completed my MBBS and graduated recently. I am planning to take up my career after a short break as I will be needing a surgery due to OA knee, but I am pretty sure to take up PG… definitely something clinical for sure. I am grateful for all the support that I got.”
The Hemophilia Society Calicut Chapter expressed sincere appreciation for the support that helped make Rohith’s education possible, noting the lasting difference it has made in his life.

Syeda
Syeda Areeba is a 22 year old woman from Pakistan, who recently was approved for a Save One Life scholarship to pursue her Bachelors of Business Administration. Syeda has Von Willebrand dissease. She submitted this video to apply for a scholarship grant from Save One Life. Syeda graciously told us her story and what it’s like to live with VWD in Pakistan.
“As a student living with Von Willebrand Disease (VWD) type 3, I face unique challenges in my daily life. Despite these challenges, I am determined to pursue my academic goals and achieve success in the field of business administration. My family has been instrumental in supporting me throughout my journey, and I am grateful for their love and care.
Due to my VWD diagnosis, I require regular medical appointments and medication to manage my condition. This has resulted in additional expenses for my family, which can be a significant burden.
I believe that with the right support and resources, I can overcome the obstacles in my path and achieve my full potential.”

Shreeshakrishna
We are thrilled to share the success of Shreeshakrishna, who was a beneficiary of our scholarship programs. Shreeshakrishna recently passed the CA final exams and is now a qualified chartered accountant! Shreeshakrishna has severe hemophilia A. He grew up in India with his grandparents, since he lost both of his parents during his adolescence. Shreeshakrishna sent us a letter sharing his story, read it below.
“I am writing to share a very special milestone in my life—by the grace of God and with the unwavering support of people like you, I have successfully cleared the CA Final examinations and am now a qualified Chartered Accountant.
This achievement would not have been possible without the invaluable support I received from Save One Life during my educational journey. The scholarships and the provision of antihemophilic factors during my Bachelor’s degree made a significant difference in managing my condition and focusing on my studies.
I would especially like to express my deepest gratitude to Ms. Usha Parthasarathi, whose kindness, guidance, and commitment ensured that I could benefit from the programs offered by Save One Life. Her efforts on behalf of individuals like me in India are truly life-changing, and I will remain forever grateful for her support.
