Since 2014, we have invested more than $310,000 to help over 300 people and families affected by bleeding disorders start or grow businesses and build financial stability.

Meet MEG Grant Recipients
MEG
Benjamin
Benjamin began his journey with a two year apprenticeship, where he vigorously learned all aspects of the trade. By the time he graduated, he had become known in his neighborhood and church for being a tailor. Not only is Benjamin known for his skills, he is known as a proactive advocate for his bleeding disorder community. He is an active camp member and volunteers at local events. At only 21, he was ready to start his own business. Benjamin applied for a micro-enterprise grant to purchase the supplies needed to start his business, which he was awarded. Benjamin plans to give back to his community with the money earned from his business.

Siddharth
At Save One Life, we are honored to support individuals living with bleeding disorders and help them achieve their dreams. Siddharth, who lives in India with severe Hemophilia A, is a wonderful example of what is possible with opportunity and support from our global community.
After the tragic loss of his father, Siddharth’s family faced immense challenges. When he was in 10th grade, Siddharth became a Save One Life sponsorship recipient, which changed the course of his life. He received a micro-enterprise grant in 2020 to start his own business.
With this support, Siddharth was able to continue his education, start his own grocery business, and eventually complete an MBA in HR and Marketing. Today, he works as an HR Assistant and has built a home for his family, milestones he attributes to the support and guidance he received from Save One Life.
Siddharth’s journey from adversity to success reflects our mission: not only to save lives, but to empower individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders to thrive.
