Each climber is required to fundraise $6,000 for Save One Life. This fundraising goal supports children with bleeding disorders in the 14 developing countries where Save One Life currently works.

This world-renowned route takes you across colorful rhyolite mountains, geothermal hot springs, black-sand deserts, and sweeping glacial valleys-ending in the sheltered oasis of Thórsmörk. As you cross Icelandic landscapes, you’ll support Save One Life’s mission and return home inspired, empowered, and connected to a global community of hope.

What is included in the $6,000 fundraising requirement?
- Public transport from BSI bus terminal to Landmannalaugar and from Þórsmörk to BSI bus terminal.
- Professional and qualified English-speaking guide.
- Accommodations from Saturday August 1 to Friday August 7
- Welcome and celebration dinner, meals from lunch on day 1 to lunch on day 5.
- Luggage transport throughout the trek.
What is NOT included?
- International airfare.
- Visa fees.
- Personal clothing or equipment.
- Personal shopping and snacks, items of a personal nature.
- Recommended trip/travel insurance.
- Individual travel costs, delays, taxis, etc.
