NEXT Leaders Congress
NEXT is about building the future of the bleeding disorders community.
It is a movement driven by the next generation of leaders who will help define what matters most, how we ensure access to care, and how we create a world where everyone with a bleeding disorder has access to equitable treatment—regardless of where they live.
The NEXT Leaders Congress is a national leadership conference designed specifically for young adults ages 20–30 living with bleeding disorders. As healthcare, advocacy, and treatment options continue to evolve, the next generation has an unprecedented opportunity—and responsibility—to shape the future of our community.
NEXT provides a unique forum where participants can develop practical leadership skills, strengthen their confidence as advocates, deepen their understanding of healthcare and treatment navigation, gain insight into the global bleeding disorders landscape, and connect with peers from across the country who share similar experiences and challenges.
Through interactive workshops, engaging panel discussions, and meaningful networking opportunities, attendees will leave with the knowledge, tools, and roadmap needed to become active leaders and make a lasting impact within the bleeding disorders community.
The NEXT Leaders Congress is more than a conference—it’s an opportunity to help shape the future of the bleeding disorders community at the local, national, and global levels. The future belongs to you, and your voice matters.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Develop leadership and advocacy skills that can be applied in their personal, professional, and community lives.
- Learn how to navigate healthcare systems, insurance coverage, treatment decisions, and the transition to adult care.
- Connect with peers from across the country who understand the unique challenges of living with a bleeding disorder.
- Engage with national leaders, healthcare professionals, and industry experts.
- Gain the tools, knowledge, and confidence to advocate effectively for themselves and others.
- Explore opportunities for volunteerism, community engagement, and future leadership roles within the bleeding disorders community.
- Learn how to support efforts that advance equitable treatment and access to care for people living with bleeding disorders around the world.
- Build lifelong friendships and a powerful network of support.
The NEXT Leaders Congress is open to young adults ages 20–30 living with a bleeding disorder, including hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, rare factor deficiencies, platelet disorders, and other inherited bleeding conditions. Priority will be given to individuals who demonstrate an interest in leadership, advocacy, community involvement, or personal growth and development.
A limited number of participants will be selected to attend through the generous support of conference sponsors. Travel, lodging, and meals may be provided for approved attendees.
We encourage local chapters, hemophilia treatment centers, and community organizations to share this opportunity with emerging leaders who are passionate about making a difference and helping shape the future of the bleeding disorders community.
NEXT is able to offer airfare, hotel, food, and conference registration for only $50.00 per participant if you share a room ($150 if you prefer your own room). Yes, it’s true!
